 Tatooine
This was the first time I ever drew or painted Boba Fette. I went for a long time avoiding Fan Art. Mostly because I felt weird about selling stuff based on other people's ideas. Me and my 7 year old niece ended up having a brief shouting match about the subject. She totally won. She convinced me of the awesomeness of fan art when she said, "You don't have to sell it! You have to share it with the world."

She was right. My constant need to be a working artist, a PAID artist, had overshadowed my desire to share my ideas. Even it those ideas were based on the creations of others. I painted this immediately.

Ever since I saw the first Star Wars I always wanted to see a jawa with a light saber. I doubt I'll ever see it on the big screen. So here it is. A moment on Tatooine where the infamous Boba Fette teamed up with a pair of hard core, light saber wielding jawa, to collect a bounty on some poor soul.
