Be original, Every year, we come across numerous cases of honor killings or stories of suicide committed by couples in India thereby putting an end to a beautiful relationship. Being a conservative and narrow minded society, marriage outside the cast is forbidden be it in any strata of Indian society. We see the depth of the situation by analyzing the data of the lives lost or how popular and widespread the topic is on social media or news. This situation does not only concern with lost live's but it is also covers the people who love a person outside their cast but they don't elope or suicide for their love, instead decide to fight back . It doesn't mean they love any less or they are not passionate or strong enough. These people are actually the strongest ones as they love their parents most even if that means they have to kill their desires to make their parents happy. They bend in lies of the sacrifices their parents did for them since childhood. So these people put their parents wish above theirs. I saw so many love stories being destroyed for the sake of the society because society does not accept the inter-cast marriage. But this was one part of the story. Our society is evolving slowly and gradually. Love marriages are being accepted now but with a condition. Parents tell their children to find someone for themselves but within the cast and threaten to disown the child if he/she chooses the person outside the cast. I want to say something to such parents that love is not the thing that happens with a planning your child does not fall in love with the girl/boy of another cast to mock you. They are together because they understand each other, care for each other. They are friends before they are lovers. Love doesn't have a boundary but still your child will choose your happiness, they will die inside but don't let anything happen to your reputation. They will marry the one you choose even if their heart belongs to someone else because your child loves you. Dear parents, your children love you the most and they passed as child but you failed as a parent because you love this fake society more than your children. You "killed" your child for your fake reputation in the society. It's my humble request to all the parents and their children to come forward and discuss such an issue with an open-mind with each other and try to bend a bit to each others wishes.
