COVID-19 POEM Leave us, leave us, monster ill How I wonder how you kill! Covid, untie your ill knot Which you make us die and rot What a great monster you are! Your grip is like Magog bar Nations are under your lockdowns May you vanish before it dawns We no longer pray in rows Neither do we tour in towns Deserted are our mosques and markets How could life be with nothing in pockets We've had pandemics in the past And God took them off and cast You'll tread their path and go If you wreak your havoc so Fellow compatriots, let's pray Safe and healthy we should stay Light will shine at the end of tunnel Here comes the end of my poetic jewel Ahmad Hassan Assahafiy Medina, KSA
