No Urdu in Dilli, Mian
Recently, in the city which once rang with musha'irahs in the evenings and came alive with the lightness of Urdu witticism, two artists painting an Urdu couplet on the wall in GT Road were stopped from doing so. While we all know how the facts go, we couldn't help but share this brilliant poem by Manash Firaq Bhattacharjee about how Dilli's soul aches for what seems to now be lost.
