Shadow is always there with us
Whether it is night or day
It will never leave us
When no one support us in any way

Its colour can be grey or black
It is always without expression
Everytime in them emotions lack
And it never leaves any impression

It cannot hear anything
But after telling it we feel relieve
As with it we can share everything
It is the best secret keeper I believe

It has no ability to speak
At times its silence gives us good advice
Its size is similar to us when sun is at the peak
It has no attitude as on the ground it always lies

It has no eyes to look around
So it blindly follows us everywhere
Whether we move on road or on ground
It goes with us everywhere

Shadow has no ability to touch or to feel
But its presence only make us strong
When we are afraid to reflect what we feel
They mimic us to tell that we are not wrong

Shadow never differentiate between living and non living
It comes with light and goes when light has gone

Its presence and absence depends on light comes and when it has gone

In dark it often disappears
It leaves us t search for light
When light comes it reappears
To help us to differentiate between black and white

We think it's this quality is bad
To leave us alone in dark

It listen to us everytime
It will be with us till our life's end
