Again I have to wake up in the dawn,
With a slightest ray of hope,
Gulping a cup of coffee,
To watch how good this society work.

But, again I have to cross that lane,
Where beggars with limbs sit on the footpath,
Ask me for some food and alms.
But, my negation fails to change.

Again I have to pass from that orphanage,
Which force me to think every time
Why people are so evil,
That they had to abandoned their children.
Behind a wall in an edifice
Where it might be difficult to get nourishment.

Again honesty will be bruised,
With some manipulated truths.
Those who vowed to be loyal,
Now, work efficiently but, ‘Under the table' .

Again they will kill each other,
In the name of lord and religion.
Expecting to die like a martyrs and be in heaven,
They will slay all the humans.

And again, I have to switch on the TV,
And again, I have to read the news,
And again, I have to face this world,
Which probably is never going to be good.

And again! And again! And again!
These things won’t end,
And anything won’t change,
No one would come forward
To make a difference.

But, hold on for a second
If they can’t, you can make a difference,
Not by changing this society or people,
But by doing your part of job
Which is require.

This society isn’t good,
Unless you change your perspective
From negative to positive,
From cons to pros.
You would be the one who'll make it work.

So, again I have to wake up in the dawn.
With a slightest ray of hope,
Gulping a cup of coffee
To watch how good this society work.
