थोड़ी नादान सी हूं। थोड़ी बदनाम सी भी हूं।
किसी के दिल में मैं आज भी दफन हूं तो किसी के जुबा पर मैं आज भी बस एक 'कफ़न' सी हूं।
शाम की एक ठंडी मस्त मोले हवा सी हूं।

शहद से भी ज्यादा मीठी हूं तो पंखुड़ी से भी ज्यादा कोमल हूं माफ करिएगा शायद मैं आज भी इस "जहर" से भी बड़ी बेवफा हूं।
इन सपनों से भी ज्यादा खूबसूरत हूं,इस 'इंद्रधनुष' से भी ज्यादा रंगीन हूं।

रक्त से भी ज्यादा लाल हूं तो शायद इस रात से भी ज्यादा काली हूं।
इन 'इशकजादो' से भी बड़ी दीवानी हूं मैं तो आज भी इस 'मदिरा" से भी ज्यादा नशीली सी हूं।
शायद मैं इस रोशनी से भी ज्यादा 'धुंधली' हूं तो इन टूटे हुए सितारों से भी ज्याद 'टूटी' हुई भी हूं।

पता नहीं क्यों मैं इस 'सच' से भी ज्यादा कड़वी हुई हूं पर फिर भी इस समंदर से भी ज्यादा 'गहरी' सी हूं पर माफ करिएगा एक बार फिर से मैं तो आज भी इस मौत से भी बड़ी "कातिल" हूं।
शायद आज भी मैं अपने आप में एक "इतिहास " हूं इसीलिए मैं "इश्क" हूं।
