I used to believe there is no one living in the sky.

He is only with saint and clerics.

Then there was a time,
when I was lonely and broken,
when I was shattering and shivering,
when I was crumbling and crying.

I went to my mother
In a pain so deep and with no comfort found,
Unable to sleep and no relief to my wounds.
I Said this pain is killing me and laid my soul bare,
she scrubbed dishes and acted like she doesn't care.

I went to my father
to talk about the anguish burdening me
But he spoke of his hardships and strife,
Of the weight that weighed upon his life.
I offered my apologies and said sorry,
turned and left with eyes full of worry.

I went to my friend
I was broken and crying told him I am dying,
He scorned, "Be grateful and stop sighing"
He shared his own wounds and traumas,
made my pain seem small and called it a drama.

I was looking for comfort and to a listening ear,
Someone to understand and to hold me near.

I ran away from everyone
broke into tears and complained to the sky.
It gathered clouds and with a heavy sigh,
Started crying in empathetic tears,
As it was raining to quench my fears.

I trusted of someone in above,
Living in the sky and With endless love.

who cares about me and knows my pain
not confined to Mosque and Churches domain.
That his presence and essence is beyonds walls,
He's also living in our hearts and is the God of all.
