मिलेंगे अब उसके कब्र पर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घर पर।।   पुरुष मर्यादा लांघ गए, बेटियों के देह फाड़ गए , चोट लगी हैं इस देश की माटी में, हैवानियत अपना झंडा गाड़ गए, स्त्रियां हांफ रही डर कर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घर पर।।   हर ओर दिखता ये रास हैं, न कोई किसी के पास हैं, कभी दो साल की बच्ची, तो कोई किसी की सास हैं, रहना ऐसे हैवानों से सम्हाल कर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घर पर।।   पुकार रही हैं तुम्हे भारत माता, रक्षा करो हमारे बेटियों की, ऐ! विधाता, कोई आशिफा हुई, तो कभी निर्भया कांड हुआ, कहीं दामिनी तड़प रही, तो कभी जैनब का शमशान हुआ, हैं खड़ा यमराज सर के ऊपर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घर पर।।   भारत के पौरुष, अब आखें बिच्छों न, अहिंसा का मार्ग अब सीचों न, क्या सुख गया हैं खून तुम्हारा? देख लिया अन्याय अब बहुत सारा, लिख दो नाम खून से इन दीवारों पर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घरों पर।।   नहीं रहेंगी हमारे देश की नारी दहशत में, दाग देंगे गोली इन आदमखोर दरिंदो में, अब तो वक्त नहीं लगेगा वक्त बदलने में, आओ सपथ ले हम सब मिल कर, मिलेंगे उसको अब उसी के कब्र पर, जिसने लूट ली इज्जत अपने ही घर पर।। ©Aashutosh Kumar Suman

Resting Elbow Upon the field where death does reign, A young soldier’s body was brutally slain, No cry, or the scream could be heard, A silent young soul left the world. The fighting was done, the battle was won, But at the cost of our brave young son, For our brethren, he died in glee, His soul now soaring proud and finally be free. No more the sound of bullets fly, No more the need to bleed or die, For in the arms of death he rests, Forever-more among the blessed. So let us honor the brave soul, Who paid the price, the ultimate toll, The courage so high, a soldier so true, Who fought and died for me and you, And let his resting elbow be, A sign of peace, courage and victory. ©Aashutosh Kumar Suman Resting Elbow

Entwined hearts Amidst the verdant fields I explored, Found nothing, as soothing as yours. My soul felt lost, my heart alone, Yearning for love that only grows. Reminisce the day, I met my heart, The eyes so deep, stating a piece of art. Yet she strays from the love I adore, Maybe she counts the fealty before. Her voice, a sweet ember that glows, Contemplating all my woes. Her attractiveness, a feast for eyes, A balm that soothes, a cure that satisfies. Before Dawn The night bloomed, star twinkled The room arose in a twilight filter Yet he sleeps with a groaning face Loosing all the beauty in a violent chase His snore was my wake up call Shaking all the laze, against all the odds I look over the time shone by the crimson light The clock clinging to the wall reads “two past nine" I moved out of my room into the scenic meadow Heard the murmur of the few shadows One said “ The nature is ethereal and vivid” The other remarked “Yes it is, Indeed" I walked past them whipping around Looking for peace I mellowed down There is still something, I think, I must know Whatever it is, Its not clear to me though The captivating clouds calling my name Wandering in the countless frame Although it looks calm and pleasing As if frolicking my heart with a little teasing My mind went blank and I let it stray It will be better if I went away And I whispered “I must stay.” And I whispered “It’s still far away.” ©Aashutosh Kumar Suman #parent

Fateful Day The summer rain with daffodils swayed a gust Smelling a queer, calling thy name Cease a second , look around Let the enchantress sink in The rows they stood in Tiny Bees fluttering over Swirling by the nectar You still have to wonder ?
