बेबाक पन्ना सुनता जाता, अल्हड़ सी दुहाई को
रोती हुई कलम को और सिसकती हुई सुराही को

याद आज का दिन करें जो फंदे झूला करते थे
इंकलाब को जिंदाबाद जो बंदे बोला करते थे

जो भेंट चढे आजादी की, इंकलाब के नाम पर
अंग्रेजी हुकमत में राजद्रोह के इल्जाम पर,

या जो भेंट चढे सियासत की, पीछे जानो कौन रहे
आजादी में जो अपने थे, आगे रहकर मौन रहे,

नमन उन शहीदों को जो हसते तख्ता झूल गए
राष्ट्रप्रेम में सारे दर्द आंख खोलकर भूल गए

भूल गया यह सकल राष्ट्र, सर देकर जो काम हुआ
खादी से आज़ादी कहकर, चरखे का बस नाम हुआ

यदि नमक, अवज्ञा और गाल दिखाने से आज़ादियां लाई जाती
तो हर मुल्क में इतनी जाने यूं ही नहीं गवांई जाती

जो कर्मवीर थे भारत के, जो राष्ट्र को अर्पण रहे
करबद्ध नतमस्तक होकर आज उन्हें नमन करें
