12 AM. An ashtray holding the dead remains of my breath, lay still on the table that night. Street lights flickered due to the downpour blocking it's rhythm. It could not see clearly into my half lit room. An annoyed pillow lay sideways on my sofa corner, waiting to be manhandled. That floozy ! I laid back in the arms of my chintz, supporting my weight silently, keeping a watch on the wall that separated my room from hers. It had been a peaceful night, apparently drunk on the best scotch in the world it weaved patterns across my hall window. It seemed a bit faint but my kitchen knife called me soon. It wanted to taste something new, the veggie juices gave it a dull shine. I took it in my hands, rubbing it's handle enough to titillate the things to come. Walking across the hall I entered the silent room, rubbing my socks along the carpet. I could feel the woollen threads entwining themselves into the carpet moss, creating sparks visible in dim lights. We sang you the best Birthday Song ever, conjunct with slash of skin and steel. I guess you had something to say but I let your blood glub out and sing me to sleep.
