Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, eminent poet and literary critic for writing a brilliant critical appreciation on my poem 'SOMETHING I LOOK AT-2'.Thank you very much, sir, for your wonderful words of appreciation Smurti Ranjanji, Your poem titled"Something I Look At-2" is a poem of lost chances to pursue goodness and the options that are to be explored further in this world of opportunities. The sorry for mindset is quite obvious here, those moments of joy and happiness are bygone things altogether. To secure one's position, mistakes are committed, the reputations of many are destroyed and false accusations are levelled against the pious souls but now the time to be regrettable for all those dubious acts should be opted and taken to its eventual conclusion. The backstabbing and other acts of despicable nature should have been avoided and clear love of humanity shown should have been availed upon, so it is time to seek a new world of righteous nature. Kudos to you for composing such a straight-forward and marvellous poem. Written by Cijo Joseph Chennelil. Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, eminent poet and literary critic for his beautiful words of appreciation of my poem 'A LOOK AT LIFE-2'.Thank you very much sir for your wonderful words of appreciation Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-2"is a poem that dissects the concept of love in a microscopic manner.True love is conveyed through silence,it can set hearts into motions that can generate feelings of oceanic nature in the interiors of the hearts of the two people intimately drawn to each other. The passionate love is done and dusted and the love of sustainability enters the scene without the accompaniment of physicality at all.Love is a greater feeling than lust, the mixing of both is an incompatible and contradictory thing altogether. The true love reaches its Himalayan peak when two individuals attracted to each other remain in silence together seeing the world with a positive frame of minds and with no care in the world.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of exquisite nature. Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Channel, an eminent poet and internationally acclaimed literary critic for writing a brilliant critical appreciation on my poem 'A LOOK AT LIFE-7'.Thank you very much, sir, for your wonderful words Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-7" is a poem that reiterates the idea that ask you will get, search you will find and knock the door will be opened to you. If we go ahead in our lives to seek, to find, not to yield, then successes can be attained out of life because it is not too late to seek a new world. Only through perseverance, hard work, diligence and resilience, the real achievement can be had, mere belief that fortunes can come at the drop of a hat is not ideal at all. It is better to have expectations, but for the fulfilment of those anticipations, we need to work really hard. Only through the hard ways, life can come a full circle wherein all our dreams can be translated into reality one way or the other. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of magnificent nature. Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, eminent poet and internationally acclaimed literary critic for his brilliant critical appreciation of my poem'SOMETHING I LOOK AT-44'.Thank you very much sir for your wonderful words Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"Something I Look at-44"is a poem that is born out of the turbulences faced by the human beings in terms of their lives, the lives we lead here on this earth are filled with ups and downs and ebbs and flows all the way.In this journey of life,we go through many harrowing experiences and we overcome all these nasty experiences using the self-confidence principle inherent within our hearts. The relationship of us with the God Almighty remains always steadfast not because we keep it intact rather he loves us constantly inspite of our sins and shortcomings. The motherly figure in the world works and commits substantially for her son's welfare. Here in the poem, the individual concerned does not harbour any illwill at all at any rate towards anybody rather he/she wishes happiness and satisfaction for one and all.Although there is physical rupture in this relationship, the mental ties are consolidated to the core.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of magnificent nature. Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Cennelil for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem 'ALL OF A SUDDEN'. Thank you so much sir for your wonderful words of appreciation. Smrutiji, Your poem titled "All of a Sudden" is a poem that drives home to us the message that afterall not everything is lost in this time of lockdown as a result of the Coronavirus wreaking havoc on the health conditions of all sections and age groups of the population of this world. This virus infestation has taken the world by storm. It had started in Wuhan and now it has had a lethal global reach and propagation like never before. The world today encounters an unprecedented health emergency and we are not sure what is in store for us in years to come.We are all asked to remain at our homes so that the worst things that would arise out of this pandemic don't touch us in any way,but still we are not sure about what will pan out in the future as a direct result of this virus having already taken a stranglehold over us.Amidst this existential crisis, something is salvaged, that is that,we have begun to look at each other.Within our families, people have made bridges towards each other. We also now understand our dependency upon each other. We need to make this Coronavirus crisis as an opportunity for ourselves to retune our lives to a level of sustainability by turning towards the bosom of nature and thereby we start living a life more in conformity and tandem with the needs and requirements of nature and her surroundings.Let us till and cultivate the land during this lockdown so that we create an ideal relationship with nature which is essential for building up a life of quality-oriented nature rather than a life of mechanical tone and tenor.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of fantastic nature. Cijo Joseph Chennelil. Kuravilangad 2020@ A LOOK AT LIFE-96 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY ALL OF A SUDDEN Since long We have been under the same roof Not being bothered about each other Remaining within ourself without trespassing Into other's domain All of sudden how could you become So serious and possessive about me And me too about you and your well being? I know what you are thinking You know what I am thinking Corona has brought us together Given us the break to look at life To feel its rhythm and rhyme To make good the moments lost And fall in love with each other once again. For the first time, I feel You are for me and I am for you We are for each other and together We are for the rest of the world Our common enemy has dragged us together The world has become a big family Cutting across frontiers, Language, region and religion We have come together Sharing the same emotions and feelings Frustrations and agony Our survival is at stake, existence in jeopardy Neither you want to die nor I want to We are living in constant fear of death What worse can happen to someone still alive. Let us remain close to each other Love and live in isolation To ensure that we live beyond the corona syndrome To welcome the new sun For the first time We are far away from The madding crowd's ignoble strife The speed and hectic pace of life There is silence both inside and outside The silence may be the prelude To a violent storm Or the moment of enlightenment We have been looking forward to since long Let us never go outside Remain in isolation, in the safety of home Encourage others to remain inside This is the call of time By living for ourselves We will be living for others The world is a big family And we are for each other That is the only way We can fight the deadly virus. We are not fighting a war A war-like situation or economic depression We are fighting against something unprecedented To which there is hardly an answer It is a fight of each for all Our kids are locked abroad We are locked so also others That is the verdict of nature And the lockdown is definitely for a better And less horrible tomorrow We must understand It is a battle for our survival A battle where we all are all involved Be with the system fighting the virus Obey the orders or else You can not imagine Where we will be. What is there in store. Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, an eminent poet and literary critic for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem 'SOMETHING I LOOK AT-3'.Thank you very much, sir, for your wonderful analysis and words of appreciation Smurti Ranjan Ji, Your poem titled"Something l look at-3" is a poem on the theme of love and its various dimensions from one end to the next. The concept of love is searched in a holistic manner. Love it seems is isolated, alienated and cornered to a large extent. The search for love is an extensive and exhaustive one stretching from the palaces of the affluent people to the hamlets of the poverty-stricken ones. Sometimes, the concept of love is an evasive and elusive concept, it remains in slippery slope terrines always very difficult to realise it by the pursuers of this beautiful and predominant emotion in the world. True love is present in a place where we have people acting in a self-effacing manner for the sake of others. Love is after all all about sharing and caring. It is an emotion that creates scenarios of multiple dimensions culminating in the emotions of life and death due to its right or wrong application in terms of the practice of this emotion by us human beings. Love is present everywhere in this vast universe, what we need to do is to see it, hear it, search it, find it and respond to it adequately and aptly. Although love is an all-pervasive force, it is very hard to bring into fruition because of the misrepresentation of it by the sundry elements around and the vulgarity and obscenity attached to its narration. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of enormous stature on the theme of love. Written by Cijo Joseph Chennelil. All Copyrights Reserved@.On 28th October 2017. SOMETHING I LOOK AT-3 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY I search for it in the lost paradise in the solitary confinement of taj in the tears of Saha Jahan and in all that is beautiful and scintillating I search for it in meadows and mountains in poverty and affluence in hopes and despair It eludes my grasp it is a feeling a feeling of completeness one has after being completely becoming ones letting and forgetting the world around A glimpse of it one can have after emptying oneself when every beat of heart throbs for it every drop of blood flows for it For the sake of it one can live and die for it is so fulfilling and enriching makes life a paradise on earth To have it one has to have a pair of eyes that only sees it a loving heart that only feels it and a simple mind that only reciprocates it. Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem "I DON'T WRITE". Thank you so much sir for your wonderful words of appreciation. Smrutiji, Your poem titled"I Don't Write"obviously states the circumstances in which verses are formed, moulded and shaped in the minds of the bards around the world. The situations in which verses gush out from the minds of poets in thick and fast are(1)When there is joy at heart(2)when the soul is in a blissful condition(3)when love is in the air(4)when the mind is saddened to the core(5)when love gives pangs and pains(6)when the tragedy occures(7)when unhappiness enters into the heart(8)when confidence is at a low ebb(9)when life is turned into hopelessness(10)when the society plunges into a state of injustice and inequality(11)when suppression is rampant in a social landscape(12)when human minds are filled with negative feelings such as hatred, complexes, egos, immorality, deceit, betrayal and back stabbing mentality(13)when the traits of freedom, justice and fair-play are undermined(14)when relationships become burdens and labilities(15)when women and girls are oppressed and compressed(16)when uncertainities, inconsistencies, ambiguities and incompatibilities of life weigh down the individuals(17)when normal patterns of life come under attack and strain(18)when human beings encounter existential crisis(19)when life goes on a tailspin and(20)when alienation, isolation and loneliness are felt in one's own life. These are the conducive conditions in which verses have their origin, growth, development and flourishment.Kudos to you for composing such a remarkable poem on the atmospherics leading upto the composition of a poem.
