When I was a kid I promised I won’t be a parent like mine I will be accepting, cool and fine It’s about my Childs confidence in me after all I would never let this relationship fall I will give my child freedom and space So that she can grow up in grace I was doing a good job, until she asked for a night stay Night stay?? She is a kid, she can go out and play I had to refuse because I care I won’t allow any non sense, anyone dare She questioned me back and asked why And to top it up her tears and cry I still did not allow her to go Then no matter how much would she blow She has to realise that she is my daughter Good or bad but I am her life sorter It was shocking when I saw her with a guy alone It took me to a different zone I had to question her on this Before she spoils our families name by giving him a kiss I have to tell her difference between wrong and right I won’t let her spoil her future, it has to be bright She got angry when I asked She said its ok mom, the world is so fast How the world is I don’t care If she meets that guy again, I won’t spare She stopped sharing things with me now Questions in my heart, why did she change and how I could not understand her behaviour I am her mother, her well wisher, her saviour I was in a big trap As I could not understand this generation gap ©पूर्वार्थ #generation gap

हम लोग, जो 1947. से 1987 के बीच जन्में है, हमें विशेष आशीर्वाद प्राप्त हैँ ….और ऐसा भी नही कि आधुनिक संसाधनों से हमें कोई परहेज है……!!! लेकिन….. 👍 हमें कभी भी जानवरों की तरह किताबों को बोझ की तरह ढो कर स्कूल नही ले जाना पड़ा । 👌हमारें माता- पिता को हमारी पढाई को लेकर कभी अपने programs आगे पीछे नही करने पड़ते थे…! 👍 स्कूल के बाद हम देर सूरज डूबने तक खेलते थे 👍 हम अपने real दोस्तों के साथ खेलते थे; net फ्रेंड्स के साथ नही । 👍 जब भी हम प्यासे होते थे तो नल से पानी पीना safe होता था और हमने कभी mineral water bottle को नही ढूँढा । 👍 हम कभी भी चार लोग गन्ने का जूस उसी गिलास से ही पी करके भी बीमार नही पड़े । 👍 हम एक प्लेट मिठाई और चावल रोज़ खाकर भी मोटे नही हुए । 👍 नंगे पैर घूमने के बाद भी हमारे पैरों को कुछ नही होता था । 👍 हमें healthy रहने के लिए Supplements नही लेने पड़ते थे । 👍 हम कभी कभी अपने खिलोने खुद बना कर भी खेलते थे । 👍 हम ज्यादातर अपने parents के साथ या grand- parents के पास ही रहे । 👌हम अक्सर 4/6 भाई बहन एक जैसे कपड़े पहनना शान समझते थे….. common. वाली नही एकतावाली feelings … enjoy करते थे……! 👍 हम डॉक्टर के पास नहीं जाते थे, पर डॉक्टर हमारे पास आते थे हमारे ज़्यादा बीमार होने पर । 👍 हमारे पास न तो Mobile, DVD’s, PlayStation, Xboxes, PC, Internet, chatting, क्योंकि हमारे पास real दोस्त थे । 👍 हम दोस्तों के घर बिना बताये जाकर मजे करते थे और उनके साथ खाने के मजे लेते थे। कभी उन्हें कॉल करके appointment नही लेना पड़ा । 👍 हम एक अदभुत और सबसे समझदार पीढ़ी है क्योंकि हम अंतिम पीढ़ी हैं जो की अपने parents की सुनते हैं… और साथ ही पहली पीढ़ी जो की अपने बच्चों की सुनते हैं । We are not special, but.
