Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 began with a bang on January 5, 2017, in Las Vegas. The tech fair featured an exuberant display of technology and witnessed big brands like Google and BMW coming together for the creation of future technology.While the participating brands including tech companies like Dell, Lenovo and HP displayed some really cool laptops, organisations like Google and BMW went high on Artificial Intelligence.

CES 2017 witnessed Lenovo launching a new series of gaming laptops– Legion. Lenovo Legion Y720 features the latest range of Intel Core processors with discrete graphics and super fast hybrid storage space and an Xbox One Wireless Controller support. The company also launched Yoga Book, which runs on a custom version of Android operating system. Yoga Book also features an innovative Halo keyboard, which appears when you need it and vanishes when you don’t.
LG unveils a super-slim television

EliteBook x360 promises the longest ever battery life of over 16 hours. The laptop is protected by a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by the seventh-generation Intel core i7 processor. The company also unveiled EliteBook x360, which features ultra-high display, 16GB DDR4 RAM and Windows Hello support.

Japanese consumer electronic giant has updated its smartwatch WSD-F20. The smartwatch runs on Android Wear 2.0 and features GPS functionality and support for online and offline maps. WSD-F20 comes with a rugged look and can slip into the low-power monochrome mode for basic tasks like checking time. Though the prices haven’t been confirmed yet, the smartwatch will be hit the market in April this year.

India is gradually becoming a favoured adventure sports destination in the world...
1. Paragliding

Paragliding is a relatively new sport in India. The major paragliding sites in India are Billing, Kullu, Solang, Lahaul & Spiti(all in Himachal), Naukutchiyatal, Dayara Bugyal, Dhanolti Ridge, Bedni Bugyal (all in Uttarakhand), Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner (all in Rajasthan), Matheran, Deolali, Mahabaleshwar (all in Maharashtra). The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards (yes, that's a thing) are back once again, showcasing candid shots of the funniest critters on the World Wild Web.
So good are some of these snaps, it's almost as if the animals knew the brief. From peekaboo eagles to ballet-dancing ants, and friendly polar bears to snowball-flinging monkeys, the most comedic scenes from the animal kingdom are all here.

Top 5 adventure sports in India
India is gradually becoming a favoured adventure sports destination in the world...
1. Paragliding

Paragliding is a relatively new sport in India. The major paragliding sites in India are Billing, Kullu, Solang, Lahaul & Spiti(all in Himachal), Naukutchiyatal, Dayara Bugyal, Dhanolti Ridge, Bedni Bugyal (all in Uttarakhand), Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner (all in Rajasthan), Matheran, Deolali, Mahabaleshwar (all in Maharashtra). 2. Skiing
Skiing is a big craze worldwide. Gulmarg in Kashmir offers one of the largest facilities for this winter sport. The best part is that the snow conditions remain excellent from December to April. Meanwhile, the slopes in Garhwal and Kumaon are also ideal place for skiing in the winter months. Auli in Garhwal is currently rated as one of India’s best skiing resort. Rock Climbing in India assumed the shape of a popular sport nearly a decade ago. Though rock faces, ideal for rock climbing, can be found in many marts of the country, the Aravali range, Western Ghats, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka provide some of the best climbing faces.
