A numbness crawls down my spine As I turn my face away from the sounds Of strange works and creatures I dig my head in my pillow As the hollows of the night Gulp my senses inside it Unknowing to such a feeling A heat rises up to my temple Making my heart race Then just like a tide Your voice washes away All my fears. My ears become insensitive to the confusions My eyes rejoice my visions A smile curls up my face Your thoughts keep me awake.
