कारुरहं ततो भिषगुपलप्रक्षिणी नना ।
नानाधियो वसूयवोऽनु गा इव तस्थिमेन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥

का॒रुः । अ॒हम् । त॒तः । भि॒षक् । उ॒प॒ल॒ऽप्र॒क्षिणी॑ । न॒ना । नाना॑ऽधियः । व॒सु॒ऽयवः॑ । अनु॑ । गाःऽइ॑व । त॒स्थि॒म॒ । इन्द्रा॑य । इ॒न्दो॒ इति॑ । परि॑ । स्र॒व॒ ॥

(कारुः, अहं) मैं शिल्पविद्या की शक्ति रखता (ततः) पुनः (भिषक्) वैद्य भी बन सकता हूँ, (नना) मेरी बुद्धि नम्र है अर्थात् मैं अपनी बुद्धि को जिधर लगाना चाहूँ, लगा सकता हूँ, (उपलप्रक्षिणी) पाषाणों का संस्कार करनेवाली मेरी बुद्धि मुझे मन्दिरों का निर्माता भी बना सकती है, इस प्रकार (नानाधियः) नाना कर्मोंवाले मेरे भाव (वसुयवः) जो ऐश्वर्य्य को चाहते हैं, वे विद्यमान हैं। हम लोग (अनु, गाः) इन्द्रियों की वृत्तियों के समान ऊँच-नीच की ओर जानेवाले (तस्थिम) हैं, इसलिये (इन्दो) हे प्रकाशस्वरूप परमात्मन् ! हमारी वृत्तियों को (इन्द्राय) उच्चैश्वर्य्य के लिये (परि,स्रव) प्रवाहित करें ॥

(Karuh, ego) I have the power of craftsmanship (sic). I can also become a (practitioner) Vaidya again, (Nana) My intellect is meek, that is, I want to direct my intellect, I can plant, (Upalakshrini) who performs the rituals of the stones. My intellect can also make me the creator of temples, thus (Nanadhiyah), those of my deeds with great deeds (Vasuyaivah), who want to have the greatness, exist. We (anu, ga:) are (tasthim) going towards high and low as the instincts of the senses, so (Indo) O God of light! Make our vrittis (sense) flow (pariva, sravana) to the Supreme Being.
