Son of King Dushyant. "What? exclaimed Dushyant. You do not believe me. come, ask my mother. She lives in a nearby hut. Dushyant inquisitively followed the boy. When they arrived, Shakuntala came out from the hut to receive her son. She gasped when she saw Dushyant. Dushyant looked up and his face broke into smiles. "My Shakuntala! At last I have found you." The king and his beautiful queen lived happily for a long, long time. Bharat succeeded his father and became the greatest king the world had ever seen.
