Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil and Prof Sir Mohan Patnaik for writing critical appreciation on my poem 'THE BEAUTY OF LOVE'. Thank you so much adorable literary luminaries for your presence and wonderful words of appreciation. I am honoured. Smrutiji, Your poem titled"The Beauty of Love"is a poem that takes the emotion of love into the domain of sum and substance. The concept of love does have two extremes of joy and sorrow happening to it one after the other. The person who is bitten by the love bugs remains in the whirlpool of emotional turmoil. When, the mind is lost in the wilderness of love, nothing affects the self in any way and at any rate. The love characterised here does have no sign of abating and it is not ridden with guilt whatsoever. The freshness of this love is everlasting and eternal and it does not budge an inch in terms of its practice and existence. The problems, worries and tensions born out of love can not dampen it rather it goes on in a relentless and restless manner. The true love that is inculcated is etched in the memory forever. The love envisaged here is beyond space and time.Kudos to you for composing such a fabulous poem spelling out the evergreen stance associated with love. I feel I were at ninety-four taking with me all these to feel how feeble is love that has neither dream nor desire Unique one from you SOMETHING I LOOK AT-94 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY THE BEAUTY OF LOVE the heart sheds tears of love asking none to come near, the soul immerses in deep agony feeling silently the pangs of sorrow the wounds remain as such, fresh, aching and bleeding without being cured and you live in an exclusive world of your own where happiness and sorrow hardly matter that is love more like walking on the edge of a razor with no signs of repentance and sorrow, no looking back, no dreams for a different tomorrow it pinches and pinches hard, but lived and loved the way it is being the only possession you can't part with the wounds and tears the moments of agony and ecstasy your dearest possession they are part of you and your love so dear and passionate no wind can blow it away no sun can dry it, no winter can moist it no rain can drench it, no therapy can cure it it will remain with you as a feeling, a shadow, and will never leave you even when your love will be no more.
