हर किसी को जीने की इच्छा नही होती, हर किसी को मरने की इच्छा नही होती, आना- जाना तो कानून है कुदरत का, मगर हर किसी के जाने पर इतनी आंखे नम नहीं होती। मैं उस वक्त काफी छोटा था, होऊंगा कुछ 7-8 साल का, तब मैंने पहली बार इन्हें देखा था। चाचा मकबूल फिल्म की CD लाए थे, और तब मैंने पहली बार इरफान सर को देखा था। उस वक्त मेरी मानसिकता को ये फिल्म बिल्कुल समझ नहीं आई। क्योंकि बच्चों को कॉमेडी या एक्शन मूवी ज्यादा पसंद आती हैं, और उनसे बिल्कुल हटकर ये एक क्राइम ड्रामा। शायद उस वक्त मैंने ये फिल्म पूरी देखी भी नही थी। मगर जब थोड़ी अक्ल दुरुस्त हुई, जब एक्टिंग को समझना चाहा, तब जाकर समझ में आया कि मकबूल असल में कितनी जबरदस्त फिल्म है। और सिर्फ मकबूल ही क्

Everything was so different back then... I saw a photograph of about 4 years back today and realise how everything was different. I would not say everything was good then but it wasn't bad either.
