There is a war raging inside me, A desire to travel through the universe Both physical and spiritual worlds To allow my body and spirit full experiences For these eyes to behold every sight Even in the smallest of holes, everything That occupies space on this planet of ours For the tongue to taste every delicacy Made by hands from different cultures For the soul to connect to new souls Feel and embrace both lost and broken ones This desire abhors committing and lingering You can call it Jack of all trades yet A master of nothing but an apprentice To the offers of the universe On the other side, is a desire to stay With both body and spirit brought to an Alignment by the vibrations in a place A place that bears the key to the universe One with promises of a particular soul A soul on a journey tied to mine You can say a soul mate, if they exist This desire offers something lasting, one worth Exhausting every atom of emotion for It whispers saying, this soul is the place you seek In every new place, new face and delicacy It evokes an aura void of solitude yet Filled with an energy that sustains The very universe in which we live in The energy of love There is a war raging inside me @nsoul.poetry #WarRagingInsideMe
