Say no to pollution, go green! 

The traffic is heavy,
the dandelions in the air,
the air is translucent,
filled with particulate flare,
the greens have a layer,
that of muddy browns,
the people are not active,
as much as the towns.  
Everything is hazy,
making everyone lazy,
is it natural prickly heat,
or the storm gone off beat! 
I rather think otherwise,
it is the manmade disguise,
the polluted surroundings. 
We are the predators,
ourselves we victimize!

 How I discovered poetry

Long before I knew it,
it was there in me a bit,
those poets lives so different,
sometimes and many a time,
so imminent.
The poems put my thoughts running,
asking questions and just pondering,
how could they complete books,
at such young age,
how could someone just innovate,
so many rhymes, devices and lines,
slowly with age I learnt my twines.
I never bothered about rhyming,
never did I pester people for buying,
I discovered poetry as a let out,
of my feelings and observations no doubt.

slightly tilted sideways
one end higher than the other armrest, 
jarring on my senses I tried pushing it down, 
but to no avail, I sat down, 
a saint was looking at me, sitting under a tree, 
he asked me why didn't I tried
uplifting the down side, 
I looked at him agape
and threw away the book
on consumerism 
I was carrying with me.
