When she says this, people say its because of the man in her life, (father/partner). Why is it so that her achievements are not her own. Or why is it so that when a man's achievements are celebrated nobody acknowledges the women in his life who helped him make that happen. But a womens achievements are because of the men in her life who helped her make it happen. The point is not that a womens achievements are shared with her family.
