"I am a self made man." When he says this, he is flodded with appreciations for his achievements and accolades. His success is because of his will and hard work "I am a self made woman." When she says this, people say its because of the man in her life, (father/partner). Why is it so that her achievements are not her own. Or why is it so that when a man's achievements are celebrated nobody acknowledges the women in his life who helped him make that happen. But a womens achievements are because of the men in her life who helped her make it happen. The point is not that a womens achievements are shared with her family. The point is why a mans achievements are not acknowledged to be the same. Lets start giving women whats due and stand equally for the men. Thats when equality prevails where there is darkness.
