The holy Shrimad Bhagavau Gita, the most precious

The holy Shrimad Bhagavau Gita, the most precious part of whole Mahabharata, though written in some limited pages, is still mysterious and limitless. No description will be ever sufficient to summarise or describe the Gita. The Gita is not meant for any one person or creed or nation, it is meant for Humanity. It speaks to the mind that has fought in life, the mind that is dissatisfied with constant war. Gita has 700 verses and 18 chapters. This shloka is from the 2nd chapter and is the 47th shloka.

The whole essence of geeta is about "nishkaam karma", and KARMA is well defined particularly in some verses like this:
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। You have right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Then why cling to results?

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि
Therefore you should neither desire rewards for action nor be drawn to inaction.
Action is its own reward.
But if we act for our own good then the action will be impure.
So walk along to the path of desireless action. The reward of your action is not in your control, so act but do not expect any reward.
