The worst affected are the animals and birds who silently suffer. Be it for hunting, experiments, circus, exploitation in wild animal markets, or for our sadist nature, we have enabled cruelty against animals for centuries. But unlike other social issues, this isn't widely discussed in the media, or in our homes. Why are we indifferent? Because it doesn't affect us directly?
