Stop expecting anyone to stay. Remove all notions that someone would even prioritize you because you've already found out so many times that no one would. You've given your heart so many times, only to be proven repeatedly that it will always be a losing battle. So, here's the newsflash: No one will remain. They'd come into your life, make you think they would never leave... and then they use you and then leave you when you've served whichever purpose they had for you in the first place; and fool that you are, you keeping letting them do that, only to be left with your heart crushed to pieces once again; your soul empty and abused. Because you let them. You let them get to you. So, the next time someone comes along and promises you forever, let them work for it.
