To Be Born As A Daughter

Her breath was getting heavier and heavier.
Yes she knew, she knew that she won't survive long, neither did she want to.

The tears rolling over the dry wrinkles of her mother's skin,
the growing anxiety and the helplessness of her brother's eyes,
the heartache behind the calm eyes of her father..
nothing could be ever hidden from her, cause she was a daughter, their daughter.

Just as a ray of light, her entire life flashed before her eyes.
Right from the time her father taught her to take little steps with her little feet,
her mother made her dolls with her own hand,
And how her brother carried her in his cycle's carrier to see the city lights.

But then nor could she resist the glimpse of the darkest days of her life.
The way the four demons tore every single inch of not only her body but also her mind.
The way they broke her into pieces that could never be gathered and mended together.

Her eyes slowly closed,to pray..
To pray to be born again as a girl child, again as their daughter not only to do justice to all the unjust things happening all around but also to spread the wings of her dreams across the blue sky.
Cause for now she was little tired and needed just some rest.
