A LOOK AT LIFE-143 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY 'I' When there is no 'I' The selfish egoistic 'I' Where are virtue and vice? Heaven and hell? Love and hatred? Mine and thine? Ego and jealousy? Pride and prejudice? Birth and death? Time and space? When there is no 'I' Where are sorrow and happiness? Pain and pleasure? Dream and reality? Fascination and infatuation? Desires and longing? Emotions and feelings? Only consciousness and bliss. Where is my identity When there is no duality? Where is me when there is only one 'I' The eternal all-pervading 'I' Relativity revolves around 'I' The illusory limited 'I' With the annihilation of 'I' Relativity disappears It is only an illusion Which blurs the reality. Me and my identity Are lost in the ocean of bliss Searching me in the ocean I find myself to be the ocean Life begins beyond 'I' Life flourishes beyond 'I' Life is sustained beyond 'I' The ignorant individual 'I' There remains only one 'I' The single indivisible 'I' Without having a second Remains no pair of opposites Everything becomes consciousness and bliss.
