I am having my best holiday, ever. Unlike every year, we didn't choose any hill station or sea side to chill the prickly heat, this year. Rather, I am lucky that in my lifetime, I got to visit my great grandfather's house. Yeah, some of my remotely related kin live here.

Everything here is lovely. The house is big and airy, unlike our 2 bhk flat at the remotest 6th floor of an oddly located apartment. There is Gupi kaku and his wife, Rita aunt. They are just newly married and full of life. Hari Jethu is a stern fellow, but Jethima is a jewel of a person. I haven't ever experienced being in contact with such a kind person, as her. She even helped me steal mango pickles from the terrace, although they made it by hands. They, Fuli dida and she. Fuli dida, damn, I don't like the person. She is an always annoyed person, I can never speak to her freely. I play with little Priya, daughter of Jethu and Jethi. She's in her childhood, she enjoys playing, but me... But me is so rude to her at times. She accepts. I wonder, how I can't do that, even today. The family is big and big hearted enough!

Like the people, the surroundings of this house is also, pleasurable. There's a big field where many boys play in front of the house. Beside the house, is a big garden belonging to this house. There are some five mango trees there, source of my already favourite pickle and my favourite dessert, mango slices, aha! The care and kindness of Jethima blooms through the various flowers of this garden, which she takes care of. In the garden, chirps birds of different colors and of unknown names... The garden is lively and playful just as Gupi kaku and kakima and Priya. You know, there's a more interesting thing. This house looks like any of those haunted mansion in films. Even its door opens with that quirky big sound, yeah, irritating but makes me taste adventure everytime. Well, it's quite like Fuli Dida. Maybe both are too much done with days they have seen.
