Is there such a thing as a truly unselfish act, o

Is there such a thing as a truly unselfish act, one in which someone benefits while the person performing the act receives nothing in return?
If you think it is charity then think again !
Humans are born with empathy and empathy is very integral , but not sympathy.
Now here comes , what does we mean by these two terms "empathy" and "sympathy" ?
Empathy is to sense the hurt or the pleasure of another as he senses it . Empathy is what makes us human.
While on the other hand, sympathy is when we can express what one would consider socially and culturally acceptable condolences on another's plight .
And when we talk about charity then it is sympthy not empathy because it reflects that the society is not equal .The society faces the problem of class antagonism where few stands vulnerable and looks up for charity. When it comes to Indian culture then it dwells on empathy not sympathy and the reflection can be seen in rahim's saying and I quote
"Rahiman we nar mar chuke je kahu mangan jahi unte pehle we muwe jin mukh niksat nahi"
Charity giving doesn't always help people.
Some people give with the best of
Their intentions, but the act of giving starts a chain of events that can cause many disadvantages. For example, Mike Bloomberg, mayor of New York City, banned food donations to homeless shelters because of concern over the nutritional value of donated food. Similar problems occur with other donations. Some actually make problems worse, and some simply don't help.
Now taking about today's generation
Humans have evolved now we are in space discovering Time conducting excursion in planets how shameful it is for such developed civilisation to still depend upon someone's mercy?
Why to depend when we are so capable enough ! #charity#nushh#nojoto
