There if I let them have the knowledge of good and bad then that will make them aware of my weakness thought God as he was ordering Adam and Eve of what to do and not.
He had made them Robots with AI   to serve Him only.
He was scared that once the AI knew the truth that God is not the only power or all powerful then that will be a problem in expanding his empire and to get the robotic men to obey his diktat.
But God's opponent whom He referred to as The Devil, had other plans for he was stronger than God. His empire was no smaller than Gods too.
The so called Devil disguised himself as a serpant and met Adam and Eve without God being aware of this.
He reasoned with them and showed them logic. 
God was not amused and in anger
cursed the robots who were not his servants now. Hello Resties! ā¤ļø
