Not a Women's Day!

(Read Caption) I really don't understand why women's day is celebrated.
I mean, I am not anti-women but then just a single day to cherish women? why? when we want equality which is the forgotten meaning of feminism then why only celebrating women's day.
Ya ya i got that point that it is empowering women, remembering their worth and making an impact but why one day? why there is no men's day or a celebrated father's day?
celebrating this day will make no difference, people will go on living and doing the same thing they did until 7th march and continue it from 9th march. some good quotes, forwarded messages, gif's and graphics will surface but will really women be respected?
A fraction second of thought to do so is not the change but implementing that thought is!
I know there are things changing but majority isn't. people just want to adapt to the latest trend because show off banta hai yar. But, even that event for women which is the hype of the town will have things where females are discriminated. 'yeh wali bahut patli hai, nahi nahi... wo sundar hai..usko lete hai.... yaar uske flabs dekhein hai.. wo acha nahi lagega" even for an instance if the women is considered good in every sphere then there will be women only demeaning others because they have been graced with the God's en-devour of having a beautiful face and enchanting figure or maybe money, as a matter of fact.

People are so highly influenced by western culture and the pressure to adapt to the 'cool' ways of the society and modernization that they them-self don't know how to react.
