How beautiful were the times of our grandparents. The one's where all this technology did not exist, there were no filters to hide or modify faces, only the natural redness of the cheeks that bloomed even more, at every compliment or even just at a glance.

How beautiful were the times of our grandparents. Those in which to declare affection to a person, love letters were written, even if you only studied till eighth grade, even if you were afraid of being rejected. And the words tumbled out by themselves on the sheets, sometimes the handwriting seemed to wobble perhaps for the fear of saying too much, perhaps for fear of saying too little.

And once you finished writing, you licked the stamp and stuck it on the envelope. At a written address, it finally went to look for the nearest postbox as it was expected. Today we write fewer and fewer love letters : they have lost their importance for many people, but not for me. I still write letters, not just love letters but a lot more.

I wrote to my childhood friend, to my best friend, to my cousin who is like a sister to me. I have written to myself many times. I wrote a letter to my dog that passed away many years ago. I wrote letters that I also cried about. True, felt, suffered tears. Because when I write, I dig so deep it hurts because when I write, the emotions I feel are 100% true, they are mine.
