It's been almost a year of learning each other. I feel so fortuitous that I tumbled over his quora profile. But I feel blessed that he messaged me 'hi' otherwise I would not have dared to message a person with an unusual name. Unusual in sense, civilians might have not heard of alpha_serria, tango_charlie, Papa_yaga and many such names but in the military it's habitual. I never knew I would get such a close friend with whom I could share my everyday troubles. From motivating me to lecturing over how silly I am with my judgments and choices, he has accomplished everything that a best friend could do.
