India; A country for the rich. India is a land on

India;
A country for the rich. India is a land only meant for the rich and Being poor is a crime over here..
The floods kill mostly the poor people residing around river banks.
The rains and storms wreak havoc specifically on the deprived and economically weak.
Look at the current scenario in this lockdown period, a special breed dog is brought and rejoined with his owner under the Vande bharat mission but the poor migrant has to walk on parallel tracks devoid of any help.. Policemen are either shooing them away, beating them black and blue and in some cases extorting money.. These helpless people are forced to walk on railway tracks because they are familiar with the incoming stations and also to escape the various Naka bandis.
Of course help has poured out for some lucky people but everyone has not benefitted from it.
We are to blame for all this fiasco cos we shouldn't have contributed to any welfare scheme but should have taken the matter in our hands and fed and helped people personally.
The rich or upper middle class may have its own set of problems but the lower middle class and the poor have resorted to pleas and asking for favors.. The economy will nose dive and the poor labourers will be forced to work extra for a minimum wage.
Schools have chalked down plans to hold virtual classes but what about that 'gareeb ka beta or beti' who studies in municipal schools and don't have access to smartphones.
