The woman I adore the most. Happy Birthday Mrs Sweetie

(Read in caption) First day of class 9.
A little nervous about who would be our class teacher! I walked in and there she was!! The woman with a cheerful smile, the kind that brightened up your day!! So, dear Lord had finally answered my prayers! I said my little “thank you” and entered the class. I wasn’t the first bencher kind. I usually liked to be lost somewhere in the middle rows. Going unnoticed by many. The “shy” one of the class. In my heart I was glad to have her there with me. The times when I was grieving to not have papa by my side. Staying strong was the only option. Emotionally vulnerable to break down any time. But she understood me. And not just me, every student in class as well as other classes adored her. She was no less than a mother to all.So warm and caring. A very rare quality you would find in teachers these days. She never got angry on not having done our homework , or scoring less marks on a test. She kept special sessions to teach about life and to answer questions that we all have while growing up. Be it on understanding your own body, the hormonal changes that we undergo or even the attraction towards the opposite gender. Love, relationships, emotional turmoil, parental issues, self-doubt and many more topics. She understood very well about the teenage years and heard us patiently. She would hug us like we were her own children.
Class 10.. when every other person scares us, putting pressure, saying if you don’t pass these exams with a good score, your life will be a living hell. But Mrs Sweetie, yes the name did justice to her nature. She calmed us down, saying, give it your best darlings! 10years from now these marks won’t matter! Don’t stress over it!
This thing touched me.! And since then, whenever I am in a situation where nothing seems to go right, I remember her words, 10years from now all of this won’t matter” and then try to calm my anxiety. It surely works!! Today is her birthday. The woman I have adored my whole life. An angel sent by God. ❤️
