60-year-old Abdul Khader from Kerala is providing food and shelter to 131 migrants hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand, unable to return home.

A former telephone operator who worked in Dubai for 40 years before returning to Kerala, Abdul has arranged 10 hall-sized rooms that have televisions, fans and a big kitchen. He also arranged for steel plates and tumblers on rent, and spends around Rs. 8000 every day to provide them with food.
