I believe in the day when the night fades away. I believe in justice when the courts have their say. I believe in tolerance when you have to give a way. I believe in humanity when terror strikes for prey. I believe in wisdom when fools lead astray. I believe in the calm after storms pass away. I believe in hell and heaven, when it's time for doomsday. Looking at the spate of events all around the world it really irks me. No one is really concerned about others, all have become greedy desiring happiness at the cost of others suffering. Human rights have taken a mighty blow and people are least bothered about it. They only realise it when they become victims. In these times I remember a hadeeths (prophet Muhammad's ﷺ words to his people. He said to his followers (the sahaba's), "Help the oppressor", to this the Sahaba's got flummoxed and asked him, "how could we help an oppressor?". The Prophet replied, "By stopping him fron doing injustice to himself and others" 🙂
