Picking up the pieces

Chapter-1
(in caption) Getting carried to the hospital, the loud tocsin of the ambulance and the vehicles passing by were whirling like a whirlpool, her sense which was already fading like setting sun finally slipped into the darkness of unconsciousness.

She never imagined herself in her situation. Although she never cherished her life or might have unlearnt it after that incident of her life. Yet this time she feared leaving like this. This once she wished not to die. Wanting to live the summer and witness the winter she wanted to recollect whatever she considered as nothing. It all seemed precious to her.

Maybe this is the reason why she was never able to cut off her this tie with the world. Her desire to get recognised, or maybe to live a moment or two where she can feel someone's hand on her back. If not a lifetime partnership but a moment of sheer support.

But now she thought that this might be her end. She won't be able to scribble the words of pain and joy and hope and distress. No more. And with this, all the sounds around her vanished letting her slip into the silence which resembles the night.
