I climb up the stairs of my worndown flat And behold the city That stretches beyond me The terrace unfolds a story untold Of ones that endured heat and cold. Once upon a time Development was at its prime Our ears couldnt hear the Nature's cries Thousand expressions crowded the skies Commuting struggles were just a pain Some caught or missed their train The unpredictable life passes by People live, survive and die And you look on,as a mere onlooker Pitying the fates of farmers, hawkers How can we get through quarantine? When we still behave like uncultured swine? As million thoughts crowd my head I yearn for respite in shade. Clearly tomorrow mocks me. Quarantine brings back old busier memories. #cinemagraph #napowrimo #quarantinedays
