Aparna - Left Right Left *Aparna— Left Right Left*

I have been thinking about writing this testimonial for the last two days but I always fail to write the first sentence. This morning I decided to write exactly what I feel. I even pondered about writing a poem but I don't think I can do that here. I mean, I'm not Aparna who can write good poems just about anything.

There's this beautiful scene in this movie called Flipped where the character Julie Baker kind of discovers this notion of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. She observes her classmates at the school and entertains herself by wondering which one is more than sum of their parts. And obviously, her mind gets stuck on Bryce Loski, the one who rules her mind. It is a nice movie actually. Well, why I mentioned it here is because I believe Aparna is something greater than the sum of her parts. But before that, let's look at her talents and the happy exuberant strides she takes towards anything she pursues.

First of all, she is an excellent writer. Her poem 'Almora ki wo wadiyan' is still my favourite poem on yourquote. I love Almora and I love anyone who writes about Uttarakhand because I don't really find many people writing about our culture here. In fact, I don't think people from here find writing something interesting. And there she is, writing gems with so much zeal! This alone makes me want to read more and more of her. If that was not inspiring enough, her command on the English language surprises me one moment and the next moment she comes up with a urdu poem with those elegant words. Is she even real?!
