Sitting on the couch, reading her favourite book written by her writer husband. Alexa was playing soft music. She turned the page and a rose petal fell from the book, by the time she realised, it started flying away with the breeze of the fan and that was mildly blowing from the balcony. She rushed to catch hold of it. It did come into her hands! When she opened her palm, it turned into dark powder, she took it and placed it again in the book. After all it was the reminder of her husband's love, who left her a year ago. She smelled her palm, and the vibes shook her deep, deeper to touch her heart. She wasn't complaining as she felt his presence all the same as before. She knew that his life had settled in her like the smell of the rose.
