gave her only pain. Since her adoption to this house at an age of 12 years from an orphanage, which she barely remembers where, she has never allowed to step out of this house. From the orphanage, Usha vaguely remembers only a very kind face of a man with a large nose and a pair of wise eyes filled with kindness. She also remembered his simple name Swami.

It was 2PM ain the night when Usha tiptoed out of the front door. She reached the end of the lane and turned to take one last look at the house that gave her only pain. A photo of an old couple was hung in the main hall of the orphanage which was built in their memory. They were Swami's foster parents. Usha's foster parents who were supposed to be taking care of her, were actually using her as their money machine. They are now 45 and in perfect health enjoying their life to the full. They just wanted a toy to show others as their own. She couldn't take more and decided to move on. She ran fast. The road was totally empty due to the odd time. Suddenly a car almost scrapped her past and she fell down and passed out. The driver rushed to her. When she woke up, she noticed the photo she remembered in the orphanage. Slowly she focused her eyes to see her world. Swami!
