To be a Poet Those were the days of winter, When I was not even a naive writer. A day, I asked one of my poet friends, To mention me in his few lines. A brief pause and he said, I can but I need to fall in love with you And I was baffled. At twilight, he texted me his creation, It was both beautiful and an inspiration. When today, YQ featured Dr. Kalam's quote, On what it takes to be a poet, I was reminded of that anecdote.
