about running! Today was not the best of the running days for me. I actually forgot to click the start button of the app that calculates the speed, distance and timing of my running. I had run two complete rounds of the ground when I saw they were not recorded. I recorded the remaining rounds but the timing was of no use because I couldn't compare it with yesterday's timing. So yes, I couldn't tell how fast or slow I was today as compared to yesterday.

In a little bit of disappointment I did the cool down stretches. While coming back I had an idea. I suddenly wanted to check my all time running stats. Before this I had checked my stats sometime in last year so I had forgotten everything. But as soon as I checked the stats my eyes lit up. The numbers seemed huge!

280 miles it showed, the total distance I've covered since I began recording my running back in September 2019. I calculated the number in kilometres and I realised I had run 450 kilometres. Damn, it's like the distance from my hometown to Delhi or Dehradun. The number changed my disappointment to a smile because it's the sweat and tears it was reflecting.

I was running in from Dugalkhola to college gate for months. Then I was running under the morning stars in the Goral Chaur ground. I was sprinting into the woods on some days. Some days I was doing the rounds as a part of the cricket routine. Some days I was running to escape. Some days I was running for some meaning. Some days I was running for everything. Some days I was running for nothing. Gosh, these 280 miles.
