In the depths of grief, I found my soul Lost in the darkness, beyond my control Tears flowing freely, like a river of pain My heart shattered, nothing left to gain But then I looked up, and saw the sky A glimmer of hope, caught my eye The clouds parted, the sun shone through And I knew then, what I had to do I had to rise above, the sorrow and pain And find a way, to live again To embrace the memories, that brought me joy And let go of the sadness, that I can't destroy So I spread my wings, and took flight Towards the horizon, shining bright With every beat of my heart, I felt the grief Transcend into something, beyond belief For now I know, that I can soar Above the pain, forevermore And though the sorrow, may still remain I'll find a way, to live again. ©gopi kiran #worldphotographyday
