I long for a touch, a glance, a smile, But it seems that fate has not aligned, The stars and moon, they do not shine, Upon my heart, a love divine. Oh unrequited love, you are my curse, A pain that I cannot reverse, A love that burns, a love that hurts, A love that I cannot disperse. My heart cries out, in silent pain, As I watch you love, again and again, With someone who is not me, And it breaks my heart, endlessly.
