In truth, we live in a world, where women are, basically, the weaker gender. Weaker, I say, given their physical attributes. Added to this is the prevailing societal discrimination--present in all communities, worldwide. Add that, again, to the natural instinct of survival--the basic block of evolution. Thus, a lot of women become the victims. They are suppressed, not only by men; but, also by other women, who are bullies, by nature. See? Hence, a lot proclaim that being born Woman is a curse, more than a blessing. Utilizing this particular perspective, I think it's true. This opinion is my own--based on my specific background. If anyone disagrees; then, we will be fighting by using, both our own subjective selves. So, please. Don't.
