Now, explaining the later part of the five sense organs stated in the verse "बुद्धिन्द्रि...... कर्मेन्द्रियाणि आहु:" while having described earlier the nature of the eleven sense organs, the specific function of the first 10 sense organs are being described : रूपादिषु पञ्चानाम् आलोचनमात्रमिष्यते वृत्ति: । वचनादानविहरणोत्सर्गानन्दश्च पञ्चानाम् ।। It directly means : The functions of the five senses in respect to form and the rest, is considered to be more observation. Speech, manipulation, locomotion, excretion and gratification are the functions of the other five. 【¶◆●SEE CAPTION●◆¶】 The functions of the organs of knowledge is said to be mere observation. A simple apprehension of the objects is observation. Speaking, handling, walking, excretion and gratification are the functions of the five organs of 'ACTION'.
