I started my voyage of words on YQ on 3rd May'20.

I started my voyage of words on YQ on 3rd May'20. Two weeks later, a girl joined the voyage too on 19th May'20. Was that a coincidence I feel because again after two weeks, we met for the first time on this journey of lovely words on 29th May'20. "The Writer Junction" had organised Competition no.89 and the topic was "Sweet Sorrow". In the last competition I had stood first and wished to shift up the gears but the results showed that she stood second. I felt i had written way better than her, but that was my ego somehow totally drowned in the sea of fantasy. Because every now and then, when I re-read that same poetry of her's, I could connect to it because I can feel the emotions she had put in her words that day. I congratulated her at last keeping apart my over rated self obsession and smug atittude. She replied with a thank you and I replied back to her with a smirky smile. But I never knew at that moment that those couple of replies would bring a change in everything I see in myself right now...
((READ IN CAPTION FOR REST)) I followed her soon after that meet, she too followed me back after a day. We began liking each other's posts and appreciating each other's work. I literally fell for her verses because they were too deep and filled with emotions. Her vocabulary impressed me day by day.
We then did our first collaboration on 6th June'20. And then the series of wonderful lovely collaborations continued and the way we started understanding each other was way beyond a decade long friendship. Both on and off YQ , we became friends. She started becoming more important to me. It all started with writing for self and then complementing each other. And our way of understanding each other too remains on the strength of our writing. I wished to God to couple us up so that I could have the best of our bondings. This Friendship Day has given us a chance to be together staying way distant from each other too. Within this short span of time too, I have come to understand that God always takes care of us in the form of angels and now that I have got an angel in the form of my friend. I now feel so better, thankful and grateful to God.

Ambika Thank you straight from my heart❤️✍🏻
