I wandered in the dark forest, Looking for the footprints, To find my way, to my lost inspiration. Miles and miles, walked I, Without any trace of footprints. I wandered like a lost monk, Who is in search of divinity, Not realising that, divinity lies within. I was like a frog in the well, For whom, That small well is the entire world. Like a fool, I kept wandering, lost and delusional, For I believe, I could find my lost inspiration, outside in the world, Which is filled with delusion itself. Exhausted, I turned back to return, When I found the footprints, Which were none other than mine. I realised then, The world lies within me & I needn't look for anything outside. I wandered in the dark forest, Looking for the footprints, To find my way, to my lost inspiration. Miles and miles, walked I Without any trace of footprints. I wandered like a lost monk, Who is in search of divinity, Not realising that, divinity lies within.
